Director of Plant Operations

The Director of Plant Operations is responsible for oversight and direction of the functions associated with Plant Operations, Emergency Management, and Security for the hospital and ASC in accordance with all federal and state regulatory agencies, and accreditation standards.



BA/BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent Experience gained in a healthcare, acute and/or surgery center required


o Compreshensive knowledge of California Regulations (Title 24, Title 22, etc) and AAAHC and/or TJC is imperative.

o Technical knowledge of varios mechanical, medical, electrical, HVAC systmes, painting, carpentry, plumbinand other plan operaions are required.

o Minimum of five years' management experience in a healthcare related field preferred.

o Ability to relate and work effectively with others.

o Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards.

o Knowledge of State, Federal and Accrediting Body regulations and standards and performs in accordance with them.

o Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for his/her own professional advancement and that of others.

o PC-literate in MS Windows environment with moderate level of competency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
