o The incumbent will have the opportunity to work on a variety of Bogie projects for Light Rails, Streetcars, Metros, Locomotives and Passenger Coaches for customers within North-America and also internationally with our headquarters in Germany and Austria.

o This includes overseeing the day-to-day operations of the project teams (consisting of Engineering, Procurement, Production and Quality-Management) to ensure a smooth workflow and project execution to obtain optimum effectiveness.

o One of the focus areas will be change management during design, procurement, production, service and warranty phases of projects. He/she will be facilitating execution of continuous improvement plans and assisting Project Managers with schedule, budget, risk, opportunity and resource allocation management.

o The incumbent might perform active role interfacing with the client and suppliers to ensure customer satisfaction, this includes working on change orders, claims and warranty work. He/she will also support project managers providing progress reports to the management on a regular basis.

o We are looking for an individual with a Bachelor''s Degree or advanced degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Production Engineering (MBA is a plus) with project management skills and at least 1 year of successful experience in a related field. Working knowledge of Microsoft-Office programs is required. Knowledge of German language is a plus.

o Required travel: 25%. Excellent technical, oral and written communication skills required; must be able to demonstrate presentation skills.
